The girl next door

Today I am introducing some great kids I met on my trip.
All these kids were so loving and genuine. Rather serious looking on the images below but after a while warmed up to me and showed a different face that I will share on a later post.
I will never forget them.

Adorable Kajel.
This was early in the morning and her true spirit had not woken up.

This is Nanu, she is serious here but was not always like that.
Not a morning person either I guess. So special.

Amber again

Amber fort (le fort d'Amber) in Jaipur was one of the highlights of my trip to India (I went on 2 seperate occasions).
Simple image, a little depth, no distraction.
I had to wait before I had this spot to myself.
BTW you can click on the images to enlarge them.

Amber fort

Not much to add.
The beauty of that place leaves you speachless.
(Make sure you spend enough time, look around and wait for the groups of tourists to go away)

From above?

This image reminds me of an aerial shot.
It is actually a close-up of a polluted body of water.
There really is beauty in everything!

Fishing boats

At sunrise dozens of fishing boats come back in. I like the way they are decorated, a reminder that the population is largely catholic in that part of India.

Sing and dance

All Indians seem to love to sing and dance.
This is at a school event I attended.
